    Cool TenkSkin

    Has anybody ever used TendSkin?
Tend Skin Company - What Tend Skin Company Can Do For You

I only get a few ingrown hairs nowadays since I started using a str8/DE, but back when I used a multi-blade razor I used to get ingrown hairs really bad. Tendskin worked really well, and it was a godsend for my ingrown hairs, but after a couple months of using it my skin would react really bad to it. If I used it my skin would get swollen and burn and look like I got burned really bad. My first guess was an allergy, but I'm not allergic to aspirin. I was wondering if anybody had a similar experience with this???

I have to disagree with their reason for what causes ingrown hairs:

"Beard hairs curl as they grow, and eventually burrow into skin adjacent to the hair follicle. Shaving sharpens the hair ends making it easier for them to penetrate into the skin."

Based on this logic, one would get ingrown hairs regardless of what type of razor they shaved with. I think most ingrown hairs are caused by the "lift and cut" technology employed by multi-blade razors because the sliced off whisker drops below skin surface and causes problems when it regrows. As you said, your ingrown problem decreased when you switched to a straight/DE razor -- this, my friend, is the true answer.
