    I am actually not sure if the merchants would want such codes to be provided upon somebody's request.
    I would think that if they would like to offer a discount to a certain channel they would prefer that that discount is reserved for that channel.

    When they run discounts, or sales they usually have them posted on their home page and sometimes announce a sale with a discount code on SRP. It isn't an ongoing thing but comes along from time to time IME. Keep your eyes peeled.
    Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
