    Default Pashana Aftershave

    Gentlemen:

Pashana original aftershave lotion has been around for some 100. The fragrance is a sweet reminder of the old time British barbershops.

I came across it many years ago and loved it. For a time, it was difficult to get. Now several vendors offer it.

Resting on notes of patchouli, sandlewood, cedarwood and rosemary, Pashana has a sweet but pleasant and refreshing fragrance somewhere in the neighborhood of the original Pinaud Clubman. I assume if you like Pinaud's Clubman, you will probably like Pashana original aftershave. The fragrance lasts.

Both Pashana and Clubman will be with me for many more years: that is, if the Lord is willing and the creek don't rise.

Gentlemen, if you have a warm spot for the old time barbershop fragrances such as the original Pinaud Clubman, you might want to give Pashana original aftershave a try.

    Regards,
    Obie

I couldn't agree with you more Obie. Pashana is a great, reasonably priced aftershave. Its fragrance reminds me of Knize Ten, which is almost impossible to find in the U. S. since Caswell Massey stopped carrying it several years ago.

Pashana certainly ranks among my top five aftershaves.

It is also the longest lasting aftershave I ever used. It definitely can serve as both your AS and cologne for the day. The scent is hard to describe but it is certainly not a modern scent, but it does have the "barbershop scent" association going for it.

I agree wholeheartedly with Chris. Pashana does have a long-lasting scent. Perhaps they use a bit more fragrance oils in it than other aftershaves. Knize Ten is the same.

Obie, thank you for your review. I just happened to be considering a purchase of Pashana, and was wondering what the scent was like. Your review was very helpful. I tend to like "greener" scents like Proraso, so I will probably avoid the Pashana.

    Warm regards,

    Larry

    Larry,

If you're looking for a "greener" type scent, try Pino Silvestre aftershave--if you can find it. It has a scent reminscient of a pine forest.

Pashana has captured my imagination for some time now...

The more I read, the closer I am to getting off the fence and ordering some.
