Default Ever use Trumper Skin Food as both preshave and aftershave?

GFT says you can use skin food as a preshave and aftershave, I was wondering if anyone had any experience doing this? I am not sure I want to use it for both because I enjoy mixing different scents during my shave , but if its THAT good, it may be worth it.

I never tried it. It soaks in and dries so thoroughly on me I didn't think it would help much. Maybe if laid on a little thicker and lather right on top. Dunno. Let us know what you find...

I will...its coming from the UK, so it might be a few weeks before I get to try it.

    JL,

It sounds like a good way to go through a bottle twice
as fast. Might be worth a try though. But I can't
imagine the Trumpers cream could be improved upon.
    But you never can tell.

    Have fun,

I've given it a go, but only recently. I think the Trumpers Pre-Shave Oil is better, (smells great!) and it also doesn't dry out nearly as fast.

I also felt my face was a little 'cooler,' after applying the skin food. I like to keep my face warm out of the shower, and then straight to the sink for some pre-shave lovin'.

If you're not using any kind of pre-shave treatment, you should give it a go! Seems like it'd be a great lubricant.

    Hope that helps.

I tried it for the first time yesterday as a pre-shave. Normally I use T&H preshave or SCS preshave. To tell you the truth, I didnt notice any difference.
