Doesn't the scent fade within a couple of minutes
so as not to clash with cologne?

Its hard to tell because its a very faint scent. I just dont like smelling like rose water, and that is pretty much what it smells like. But like I said, it works so well Im going to keep using it.

Though I like Sue's savory rose soap for shaving I
wouldn't want a rose scented AS. I would opt for
    the lime.

    Can't fault Geo's Coral Skin food ... it's amazing

My girlfriend got me some Molton Brown stuff to try "ultra light bai ji hydrator" it's also rather nice it absorbs better than the skin food ( imho ) and does what it says on the bottle - I'd avoid the supershave olibanum from Molton Brown , for the price it's an absolute disgrace , it dries very quickly too quickly in fact , I'd actually love Dr Phong to give it a review just in case i'm doing summit wrong ... While I'm on the Molton Brown theme ... they're re-charge black pepper showergel is the best thing since sliced bread it smells so good and really wakes you up ..

ps .. I have no connection with Molton Brown whatsoever

Originally I requested samples from Trumper's for the Skin Food, specifically asking for Limes and NOT to send the Coral. They sent both, and the Coral is by far my favorite. On me, the scent disappears within about 5 minutes.

    Randy,
I'm with you; I like them both, but prefer the coral. Unfortunately, my wife thinks it smells like an Iranian desert (she lived there for about 4 years--long time ago).

Since the main ingredient of Skin Food is rose water, yes, it should make a very fine match. But you never know until you try.

BTW - Since this thread is exactly 5 years old now I hope you aren't expecting any responses from the former participants. Most of them aren't active here anymore.....
