Thanked: 44Strong Bottles
Today, during my shave, for whatever reason, I decided to put my aftershave near the edge of the counter. Then, during my prep when I placed me hands into the sink to get the water to splash my face, my elbow nudged my bottle of Alqua Velva Original Sport off the edge. I saw it in slow motion. There was no time to react. I scrunched up my gut and waited for the disheartening smash, thinking of the clean up to follow. The bottle slammed against my bathroom tiles and...nothing happened. No crack, no chip, no shatter. This is one durable glass bottle.

Too late I have made the correction!
You should have quoted it for posterity, as well as blackmail!

Glad to hear that you and the bottle of AV survived that mishap.
Thank your lucky stars. You could have had a real mess there--and perhaps a piece of glass in your foot.
Next time make certain that you place the bottle away from the edge of your sink.
You may also want to check the edge of the bottle around the inside of the cap. You woudn't want to inadvertently apply a small piece of glass that has chipped off in your hand or on your face."Age is an issue of mind over matter. If you don't mind, it doesn't matter." Mark Twain

Glass is a funny thing. Make sure you check really carefully for small cracks internal to the glass. I've done the same thing and then one day I just tap the bottle against the counter and it just breaks.

Thanked: 5Sometimes the right or wrong temp makes glass shatter with little shock to it
