    Victor,

My thoughts...If you like the scent, then splash it on.

no time to try like the present..just stay away from English leather!!..you may smell like a horses saddle..lol...if your face isnt sensitive to high amounts of alcohol then go for it..for me its "face murder"...I currently use nivea q10 with SPF15 in the bottle..nice combo!

    Good Luck!

from what i remember it is cheap, so you are not out much if you do not end up liking it.

Since you ask, I always thought Brut was cloying, but don't let me stop you if you like it. I don't splash, boys splash and it's messy.

The scent is pretty strong. Go easy with it though, and it is reasonably pleasant. Cheap, so you can always chuck it out if you don't like it.

    Default Brut Aftershave

    Hello, Victor:

I used Brut on several occasions in the early days before moving on.

I also used English Leather aftershave, because I liked its clean, soapy and leathery fragrance. I still use English Leather in the rotation, along with the Truefitt & Hill and Trumper Spanish Leather aftershaves. Woods of Windsor aftershave also has some leathery notes, and that has been with me for many years.

But to Brut: give it a try. Try a variety of aftershaves and colognes. That's the only way you will find out what you like.

    Regards,
    Obie

I've never tried it myself, but the scent seems pleasant enough. My skin doesn't react well with the, um, shall we say "frugal" brands as they are high on alcohol content and low on toner. Which is a shame, because I do enjoy Old Spice and English Leather.

It's cheap enough, buy a bottle and see if it works for you.

well.. i purchased a tiny little sample bottle from target for 1.82 or something and i gotta say.. i like the smell.. but what i didn't enjoy was people having a whiff and then saying .. "hey.. is that brut?"

that's something i never get with the old spice or my other low priced drug store offerings.. i think when it's all said and done.. a man can't go wrong with a nice dousing of good old pinaud.
