    I'm french-canadian too. I totally agree with you Glen.

    As it may be true it is still a possibility. All I was saying is some words are pronounce differently depending on where you at. This might not be one of them but then again it may. I do not know the French language that well but I am part French.

    I never took French in High School, and I'm from New Yawk, so it's obviously pronounced Pin-awd...

    My Dad was in the first battalion of the Sea Bees in WWII and worked with a guy who became a good buddy - Callahan by name. He was from New York and Dad said until he knew him for a while he couldn't figure out why, if he cut his finger it was a saw and the tool he cut himself with was a sore. Then he remembered that Callahan was from New York.

    I thought the same thing when I did it but then I tried the one to the far right and it was the actual word. Not sure what the other was, probably a different dialect
