How would you describe the smell of the Proraso aftershave, both the balm and the splash?

Proraso AS is probably one of the best cheap(ish) brands out there, one of the few alcohol splashes that refreshes and tones. I can't believe that one slipped my mind.

Just a hint - go to an Italian market, they usually sell Proraso products, especially the AS for less than $15
+1! Proraso is hands down, my favorite!

As well as a dash of old time masculine barbershop goodness!

Okay, even I don't know exactly what that means, but buy a bottle and you'll understand

Old Spice and Aqua Velva seem to work just fine for me.
Why doesn't the taco truck drive around the neighborhood selling tacos & margaritas???

I buy a bottle of Kroger Musk aftershave at the grocery store. This has an overpowering scent.

I then dilute the original liquid to 4x the original volume using a mixture of 1 part 70% isopropanol (Kroger), 2 parts water and 1 part witch hazel 86% (Kroger).

This makes the aftershave palatable at about the price of rubbing alcohol.

For straight aftershave, I use Brut. For something more expensive, I use Jovan Musk.

If you have time get the Ogallala sandelwood. It's not overpowering and the wife likes it...If you have not time get the Pinoud gentlemens'; not the Bay rum it smells to stron and all day long...The thing about women is that like faint odors not overpowering ones...IWhe I do the Aqua burn to tightent the skin I wash it off immedietly and balance it with Ogallala. Another light one is AOS Sandlewood balm.
