An alternative to Skin Food sounds excellent! I prefer the lime skin food to the rose, but I'd definitely be interested in other alternatives as well. The sandalwood, teas, and incense scents sound intriguing as well.

Thanked: 0Hi Guys,
Gee, I'm flattered to hear from you all. I'll send samples out to anyone who asks, so that being said, I only have one skin food in rose left at this moment in time. I have 9 of the #2 batch of aftershave lotion scented lemon/lime and a few of the #1 batch of lotion, scented lemon/lime. I'll make up some more skin food, and maybe get it thinner this time. Any of these, a little wee bit goes a long way. A local family member/tester mentioned this to me today about the lotions. "Just a small dab and it feels great. More than that it feels greasy." If I get this a tad thinner too, it may take care of some of that. It's just finding the perfect balance. Someone mentioned "not clogging pores". None of the stuff I make in the way of lotions or soap uses any pore clogging oils. All are non-comedigenic. The skin food is made with the hydrosols, which I haven't rec'd the new ones yet, so you'll get what I have. lol The lavender and bay laural were out of stock, so I'll have to look elsewhere. There will be no scenting over the rose. I may be able to blend something more manly with it, have to check my files on that. The helichrysum should scent easily enough, so I'll do that with some lemon/lime or maybe Bay Rum eo. Or doesn't anyone like Bay Rum anymore? Anyway, I'll try to get to the new skin food tomorrow. I need a name for this product. Maybe before you try it. lol I'll contact each of you by then if you don't contact me first. My PayPal account can be reached at [email protected] which is also my email address. My website is www.soapwolf.com Mark found it on his own, which I don't know how that's done, I'm a babe in the woods when it comes to this computer stuff. Getting to be an old crone in real life though. lol Thanks for being so brave.

I may get the rose water skin food, depending on some negotiations relevant to where I'll be when the samples arrive in Toronto lol. I'll keep you posted.

I personally use Dominica Bay Rum. Not a big fan of the scent (don't hate it either), but it's a great aftershave. I hope they have it in French Guiana in case I have to go there in a couple of weeks.

I haven't used any Bay Rum aftershave, but it sounds like good stuff from what I hear. By the way, you have a PM Soapwolf.

Thanked: 0Ok, I'm going to have to show my computer ignorance here. I assume that PM is private message. If this is correct, how do I get it? Or are these the ones that actually come into my email? Sigh.......I told you I was a babe in the woods with computers.

Thanked: 0Soapwolf's Skin Food
Ok guys, I got another round of 'skin food' ready. This one is a tad on the thin side and wants to seperate some. Needs a little more emulsifier but you can shake it. From the reports I've rec'd so far, it looks like this is way I'll be going. I used the helichrysum hydrosol for this as it has very little of it's own scent so would lend itself to taking a fragrance. I have two 1/2 oz. bottles of the following scents: Bay Rum- this is an EO and really thinned it. No seperation though. One of these is for Jordon. I have a matching bath soap.
Spicy Orange-an FO- scent of oranges with cinn & clove Bath soap available
Commando- only one supplier sells this FO. I love this on a man. Very sexy. I was hesitant to try this scent as the name implied to me that it would smell of axle grease, dirt and sweat. Not the case. I have this in a matching bath soap.
Obsession for Men This is a "going out" scent
Rustic Trails I'm not sure if I can get this fo anymore. I have a little left from soap making, but the soap is gone. This is a fresh scent with a hint of musk
Lavender/Sandalwood This is my own blend used to make lavender more manly. It's real nice. Ask Mark
Dragon Blood I will have this in a matching bath soap
Egyptian Musk I had this in a soap but it didn't sell around here. It got donated to Katrina also. If enough interest is shown, it can be soap again.
These are what I made up for now. I also have Sport, Mayan Gold, a wonderful Blackberry Musk, Pearberry that are in soap. Well Blackberry Musk is currently out, but I'll be making more hopefully this week. I do have a Vanilla Musk though.
Shipping will depend on your location and I will try to ship out of the US
Have a great day!
