Checking the mailbox eagerly every morning and afternoon, but no luck yet.
It was shipped out more than 10 days ago, so it should be here shortly.
After all, the distance from France to Norway is not that long, I try teling myself every dayBjoernar

Birnando,
By all means, post your impression of the Martin De Candre fragrance. I'm just as eager as the rest to find out whether it is worth the price and the wait."Age is an issue of mind over matter. If you don't mind, it doesn't matter." Mark Twain

So it finally arrived.
Gents.
The package containing the MdC products I had on order has finally arrived.
I have only had them for a few hours, so I'll just share my initial impression of the 3 products.
The soap:
I decided to buy the wooden bowl, instead of the glass jar. Not for any other reason than I like wooden bowls for soaps
It is more than full, it actually has half an inch of a top on it, above the rim. Cool!
Enough have been said about this soap on these pages, let me just say this:
I love the smell, and my trial-lathering just now was a great experience. Loads of really thick, slick lather. It whipped up easy.
The Copra oil, with Camomille and lemon:
I'm impressed with this little jar of goodness.
I washed my face real good, applied some lather and then washed it off in cold water. I then added a minute amount on my fingers and rubbed the Copra oil in real good.
It has a great smell, it hits you with lemon when you open the jar, with some spicy Camomille and mint lingering behind it.
Once applied it smells good, a mellow, fresh scent of lemon and a hint of mint to it. I'm afraid my English skills is not quite up to par when it comes to describing all the notes and stuff.
My apologies for that.
The feel of it on the skin is awesome. It freshens my face up, giving me a sensation of tightening it up. Not much, just a little bit, I really love the feel of my skin after an hour with this product applied. Taut, soft and moisturized. Not sticky at all.
The Vetyver Eau de Candre:
This thing comes in a beautiful blue bottle.
It's a bit too soon to speak too much on it yet. A Cologne needs to be tested for hours before the real smell can be assessed. My initial impressions though are:
It opens rather strongly, lots of spice. It mellowed down quite immediately and left a fantastic fresh and elegant Vetiver scent. A little hint of lemon and mint in the back of that Vetiver smell.
I have used several Vetiver scents in my day, and the Guerlain Vetiver has always been my favorite amongst them.
It's too soon to tell, and it is always dangerous to assess anything when it has just arrived. With the excitement of a newly arrived product, I'm gonna hold back on my reviews for now.
I will however, say this; It sure seems capable to give the Guerlain a serious run for the top position on the podium!
My wife sniffed it, wondered if we shouldn't get the kids to bed early tonight, and then gave me a little wink.
That counts too
Here is a picture of the 3 products together for size comparisons, and I guess some enjoyment
Edit:
I have accidentally added the Lavande(Lavender cologne in the picture. The text is, however about the Vetyver. I bought both)

Thanks, Birnando. You are a man of your word
I already have the 170g soap in the glass bowl. The wooden bowl seems worth it though, given how much you get. Either way, this thing will last us years. 8 months after I got mine and it's gone down barely a few millimetres.
Copra oil and Vetyver cologne wise - do give us a full round up of what you think when you've tried them out for a bit. But first impressions sound promising!
