Can you tell us what aftershave you are presently using? Also, what is it that your girlfriend disapproves of in your current aftershave? Finally, can you give any indication what kind of scents she tends to like?

This information will help narrow down to make suggestions...

With 10,000 choices out there go shopping and hunt for samples to try.
When you find one you like ask her is she likes it. Try to not do it
the other way around or you will never be happy.

Do not fall for the trap where she says "like his"

Maybe a Bay Rum? My girlfriend really likes it, and they are certainly classic and masculine. The "authentic style" ones also tend to be fairly subtle after they settle in, which you may or may not like.

    Here is my thought process.
According to our friend Tom there are 10,000 aftershaves, only limited number are worth their weight and even fewer of those might appeal to you. Currently there are about 7 billion people in the world about half are women. I don't know about you, but if the logic fits...

Ok, that may not work for everyone. I would suggest Colonial Drug - the hard to find fragrance specialiste they offer sample packs, you could email her to see what they have available and go from there.

Probably good to compromise a little. You don't want her thinking how bad you smell every time she sees you! Take her with you to the department store and sniff a bunch of them together. If you can find one you both like it will bring you together, and she will appreciate your effort. Smell is such an emotionally rich sense, you want it working for you-- not against you

I'd give up the girlfriend before I would give up the Clubman.
