Thread: My new favorite summer aftershave

Ok, so I had some home made Bay-Rum by Axel Schaab, he was kind enough to let me try some of it.

The other day I added a few drops of Peppermint Oil and that made it Gorgeous on top of the already lovely scent of Bay rum for the first few minutes I get a strong mint smell. And once the burn from the alcohol is gone itv leaves a wonderfull cold/cool feeling.

I told my wife (who before didn't like the bay rum scent) and she LOVES the combination of bay rum and peppermint.

So if you want to try something new....... Get a small bottle of bay rum (or a little vial if you don't want to waste a lot of it) and add some drops of peppermint oil to it. I used about ten drop but the bottle was pretty strong so the mint scent it a bit overpowering.

Good idea. It is always fun to experiment with different scents and try to adapt them to make your own personal scent.

People should not all smell the same, just as many things in the world don't really smell alike.
