Thread: Clubman, Pinaud

okay, i love the smells that clubman, pinaud offer. However i get the feeling that they don't last long, is this just me. I know that bay rum last only 30 minuts, but i get the feeling that i am only getting about 2 hours of smell. Is there any other cologne, aftershave that has that masculine smell. I really want a long lasting after shace.

is it just you who feels the scent has died or are you asking a fresh nose? could be you just got used to the scent and don't notice it anymore.. clubman bay rum lasts well over 12 hours for me.. but it's always different for everyone.

well for bay rum, i have a second nose, but for the other its just me.

i think a lot of it has to do with your personal body chemistry.. some aftershaves last longer than others.. it just depends..

a quick fix is a small splash on your chest before putting your shirt on.. the scent will usually linger around in the fabric for an extra amount of time.

I love Pinaud products, they absolutely last all day for me; and IMO, Clubaman is one of the best masculine scents out there. That is, until someone finally perfects the bacon and coffee scented aftershave that I've been waiting so patiently for

+1 to Pops! I use a bottle of Stetson from the late 80's and while I don't notice it after after around 45 minutes my girlfriend can says she can smell it for almost 12 hours. Which is great for me considering she loves it. Also try putting just a dab extra behind your jaw right just under your ear, I've been told that this will keep the smell alive for longer.

Clubman pretty well lasts all day for me. Another long lasting classic is Old Spice. I put some on around 5:30 this morning and can still smell it (it's now noon).
