Recommendations for after-shave balm/lotion for women
Hi All,
My fiance' and I were at a retail shaving chain and she tried a after shave lotion that was very light, non-oily/greasy and she took a liking to it. Can anyone provide suggestions for after-the-shave type products that would be light (and not so masculine in sent?)
Thanks,

Maybe try some Thayers witch hazel. You can buy it at GNC and it comes in scents such as rose, lavender and peach. It smells great and works great post-shave.

I just use my favorite lotion or body butter. Either will work

The wife and I both use corn husker's lotion. I have found myself bypassing all of my expensive aftershave balms for this common, inexpensive lotion which leaves no oily feeling after application.

Thanks for the guidance. SRP has been a great resource and quite open to my beginner's questions.

I read here somewhere that Trumper's isn't much more that scented Corn Husker's Lotion. Not "quite" the same chemically (from reading the label) but close enough in consistency...I figured I'd "scent" my own...I took some of my Gabels Bay Rum and added it to the Corn Husker's Lotion, shook it up real good and presto...Bay Rum scented Corn Huskers. The Bay Rum thinned it out just right so it works well. I use it as often as the Trumper's and with all due respect to those trumpeting Trumper (I couldn't help myself...lol) and as much as I do like it, the Bay Rum scented Corn Husker's IS nice and MUCH less expensive. Happy Shaves all.

There is much to read here on SRP. To post an update, I decided on Dr. Harris' aftershave mile (rose) for my fiance as well as a shaving cream, brush, DE razor and some blades. She had said she wold like to try a DE and it is her birthday in about a week and a half....
Thanks again for the tips,
Chris
