How are you guys using it, as a face moisturizer or as an aftershave substitute?

Unfortunately, I'm afraid that if my wife found me smearing Nivea on my face for any reason I would likely be forced to hand over my Manship card amidst fits of laughter....

....perhaps I'll stick with my regular routine!

Well, Mr. Yadgar, you haven't steered me wrong yet. I picked some up and if what it did to my elbows is any indication of its performance, I cannot say enough.

When i use it, it's usually as part of my quick shave routine. My barber does it in conjunction with a hot towel too. If i need a quick shave i basically massage a big dollop into my face, then face lather with hot water and a cream, then go at it. It helps glide, and makes things a bit slicker as well, this is if you haven't done all the prep. Haven't tried it in lather but this is a good idea and i must, say with my full shave and prep routine. It has lanolin in it so its should be a good match for a lather additive.

Also a very good post shave moisturiser. i prefer other things like body shop macca root or trumpers skin food as i find they have a great instant cooling/wetting effect

I use the post shave moisturizer balm; I think it's pretty good stuff.
