    Default Homemade pre shave oil

When i first started with a cut throat razor i got pretty bad razor burn, i made sure i was putting no pressure and had correct angle. So i brought a new pre shave (commercial brand) and i did not check to see that is was for a electric razor. So after i recovered from the worst razor burn ever i used olive oil. Let me tell you it words great, it protects the skin, its a great lube, and if you like the smell of salad your in luck. I have also been thinking about using castor oil, for its medical benefits and i like the smell of it( i worked at a old aerodrome, where they use castor oil for lubrication). Would anyone find a reason to not use this oil.
