This is a really brief video about how to use an alum shaving block stone or stick after the shave.You can leave it and apply the after shave lotion or balm or later wash it with cold water and apply the after shave lotion or balm.

Thats a great video. The alum block is a strange mystical thing. Especially for noobies. They've heard or read about this great stuff but nothing can compare with a simple straight forward video to explain how it's used.

So true. I had hesitated to get one because I thought there was some special technique I was unaware of. Once again keeping it simple is the way to go . Im going to get one soon. Thanks guys.
