Thanks for all of the great replies and suggestions, gentlemen. I am on the verge of committing to a full size bottle of T&H Spanish Leather, as it has been the favourite of my T&H sample pack thus far. That said, I am going to wait until I try the remaining few scents from them. I do think that this would be a nice complementary product to my MWF. I understand that the soap scent washes away by the time you get to the aftershave, but I also enjoy scents that compliment one another throughout the shave. For example, I would probably avoid using Proraso to shave and then applying spanish leather as an aftershave, preferring to continue the Proraso experience through to the end. Same goes with my Trafalgar shaving cream and ASB, which I found delightful. I would happily follow that with their cologne, which is also a potential keeper, though I do find it fades rather quickly.
All that said, MWF has a nice mild aroma, which really could blend in well with a variety of other shaving products, so I probably can't go wrong. It was the first "premium" full size soap I ordered, along with a backup puck. Since then I've also added the T&H soap and a few Tabac products are inbound. As you can see, I love my shaving products!

Thanked: 1195jdto,
I'm almost completely certain that you will love Spanish Leather, as should everyone IMHO . You can't go wrong with either T&H or Trumper's versions, highly recommended.

Visit some shops and splash on a sample...
For me DR Harris, Tabac and MWF are exactly correct
and perfectly finished. I have some allergic reactions to
many fragrances and the light well balanced classic soaps
are all I need.
Of interest this is a personal, seasonal, event specific
topic. One should never wear cologne or perfume
to a wine tasting or a scotch/ whiskey tasting. But to
a football game (either type) to be followed by beer,
pub food and a cigar and friends... well that is another whole
pile of fries.

Thanks for the suggestions. I can say that I definitely enjoy the T&H, as I am working my way through a cologne sampler from them right now. I'll have to give the Trumper's a whirl at some point.
Easier said than done, my friend. I have been lucky to have Truefitt & Hill have not just one, but two locations within a 10-minute walk of my office. I will check the barber shop at the Royal York hotel, which is near my office, as I do see quite a few traditional shaving products in their display cases.

I recently have been combining in my mug a sample wedge each of SRD soap sandalwood & vanilla bourbon as well as a chunk roughly the same size of MWF this makes a great lather and the combined sent really stays around but is not over powering SWMBO loves it and my brother even commented on my new "aftershave" when I explained what it was his reply was "soap , really I gotta try some of that"

I'd like to try some SRD soaps, but the shipping is prohibitive for me to just buy a soap from them. I'll likely include the soap when I make a larger order at some time in the future.
As for scents, the full lineup of Tabac was a bit strong for me. The soap is nice on its own, but the aftershave and balm are not for me. I am going to have to move them to someone who will enjoy them.
