Cologne to go with Dominica BR A/S?
I bought some Dominica Bay Rum aftershave last weekend and really enjoy the scent. Unfortunately, it doesn't last very long on me (few products do it seems ). Has anyone found a BR cologne that matches well with the Dominica? All of the Dominica products on CS say they are A/S strength. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!

Thanked: 346Penhaligon used to make an elegant little silver spritzer for this purpose. 'Course a lexan one works just as well...

Jordan,
Don't feel bad, from personal experience and from what I've heard others saying, Dominica just doesn't last long on anyone. Great stuff, but doesn't last long. if you go to the actual importer site:
you can see that they have a lime and a spice that are in cologne strength as well as A/S and they usually have some pretty good deals on the stuff too. I haven't tried any of it yet, but mean to soon.

update
Well, I ordered the Dominica Bay Rum Spice cologne. The aftershave, to me, is a very pure bay rum scent with a big kick of...oh I don't know - nutmeg?
The cologne is different. It smells a lot like Old Spice. That’s not a bad thing in itself, but I was hoping for something closer the A/S. I do enjoy Old Spice and this cologne doesn't clash with the A/S, so it’s not a total bust. Oh, I applied it 3 hours ago and its still going strong - good sign on the longevity. Just FYI...

I have a bottle of the Dominica enroute from
Classicshaving. It should be in my PO Box
tomorrow. Looking forward to giving it a
try.
