Floid Blue
My wife just got me a bottle of Floid Blue I cannot put my finger onwhat it smells like. She also got me the Spainish Vigoroso it to me smells like baby powder. My question is what does the Amber smell like? she says the other 2 smell like a old man so I think maybe I can get her to buy me the Amber if it smells different. So can someone tell me the differences in the smell thanks

The Amber isn't so unlike the Floid Suave, which again I think is fairly close to the Vigiroso but with less menthol.
I have both Amber and Blue and like both a lot, with the Ambers as a fave.

Thanked: 270I'll take a stab at it. To me Floid Blue is a refined Aqua Velva, kind of like a hamburger (AV) and steak (Floid) comparison.
I have the Spanish Floid Vigoroso (with a big menthol kick), and I'm stumped as to how to categorize it. It does have a "barbershop" smell quality to it, but I know that doesn't tell you anything. I don't think I have smelled anything like it.

Floid Blue is discontinued and hard to find now. Italianbarber seems to be the only one to have some in stock.

Thanked: 0I'm really glad you started up this thread. I really like the two Spanish Floid aftershaves (Suave and Vigoroso). I've been meaning to try Blue, but it was one of those "I'll get around to it...." kinda things. Reading this thread really lit a fire under me and I hurried up and ordered two bottles while I could still find it.

I agree Floid Blue reminds me of a smoother Aqua Velva meets 4711 I find they kind of go together
