Does the AOS store have a lot of different scents in the store?
I can't make myself buy one I don't know and trying to describe a smell is impossible.
I haven't found a place that has much more than Old Spice and a bunch of different flavors of Axe (shudder).
I haven't visited the AOS store because it's all the way across Dallas.

Guerlain's Vetiver. Penhaligan's Blenheim Bouquet. She chose the former, I the latter.

My wife has decided she likes T&H Trafalgar. She's checked me out as I worked through the sample pack and gave her decision this morning. I'll see how she feels when I tell her a tub of cream and jar of A/S balm costs ~ $75

I just got back from AOS and it was a huge disappointment. I expected a large assortment of aftershaves and soaps.
#1 they had NO soaps at all, just creams. I was hoping to smell some Tabac. If it doesn't have AOS on the label they don't sell it.
#2 They only had 4 fragrances. Lemon, Sandalwood, Ocean Kelp, and Lavender.
#3 They had nothing that you could splash on. The aftershaves are gels.
I bought the Lemon gel because my wife liked the smell, but I probably wasted my money.
They had some nice looking straights and lots of DE's but that's not what I was there for.
Very nice looking store and friendly upbeat people, but not this Texan's cup of tea.
One guy was giving a decent straight shave so my wife watched for a bit and said she would do all that stuff for me except the actual shave, so it wasn't a total loss.
I mentioned Charlie's battleaxe to the man doing the shaving and his eyes lit up. Said he was looking for someone to make him a custom razor so I pointed him to here and told him there were several people that were Artists at making custom razors.
