L'Occitane vetyver
Thus past weekend I went to the L'Occitane store in Nashville and picked up a bottle of L'Occitane vetyver Cologne, and I most say I love it (thankfully so does the wife). I done really know how to describe the smell, its just good, well that's all

Thanked: 1195That's a new favorite of mine, too. And we are both very lucky my friend, as both our wives love it as well

In that respect I'd compare it to Hermes Rocabar, which smells nothing like it, but has the same vibes for me. I wish it smelled more like the bath soap, but I won't complain too much since it's pretty amazing already. Deep, dark, grassy, and nutmeggy spice without having a smoky character. REALLY overlooked IMO. On what it is that I dislike about vetyver. There's a sourness to it. Montale's expensive Red Vetiver came highly recommended. Very powerful, with the sourness accentuated, to my nose.

I am very, very strange...Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?
