Really just worried about the cut, I moved about a year and a half ago and have been driving almost two hours to go see my old barber because I can't find one over here I like (so far). E's is right around the corner from my house, and was on my "to try" list. I will have to bump it up a few spots, thanks.

Thanked: 0Yea I am in the same situation, I have been here four years and haven't had an outstanding cut. I had the perfect spot in my hometown. I live about a mile from E's and it is at least the best in the area. I tried a few other spots but not good. Have you tried the one on main street in the downtown shops accross from pure?(not by the gas station).

Are you talking about the little tiny white stand alone shop, older looking building (or is there one in the row of shops right downtown?)? I have not been there either, but it is on my list as well. I have been focusing on shops down around the perimeter most recently as it's easy for me to slip away during lunch for a cut. My favorite over here so far is a girl at Micks on Hwy 5, but they are too lazy, I was only in the chair about 5 min. Good style, but no detail, and no neck shave I gave up after 3 cuts or so.. Johnny's on Sandy Plains was highly recommended, but I did not like the style, Terrace on Windy Hill, and Thomas Barber, same thing good cut, but not what I wanted... most of these have several barbers and I would go back and try a different barber at any of those. Who's Next on Holcomb Bridge in Roswell, Roman is my guy.. he has beer while you wait and the best cut around IMO... I'm not sure how you beat that. But as stated it's far, worth it, but far.

Got a pretty good cut at Gene's barber today on S Cobb. Also found this place you might want to check out.

From the looks of the site it looks like there is a store you can go to. I've been doing mail order stuff mainly from straight razor designs, and have been very happy so far. Have also been spending way to much money with them too lol, I got some musk and special reserve coming to try out.
Lol, be advised Gene is a grumpy old man and his shop is kinda scary. But I got a good cut, and it's just him, not 10 barbers in one shop and you have to guess which two can actually cut hair.
