If it doesn't work out, you can always put it on a salad..

I have done this before and the result was exceptionally soothing. Witch hazel is great, its good that you added it. The only problem was when I threw it together I made a lot I guess it was about 28 oz when it was all strained and filtered. It seems even after generous applications I would be using it for a long time. So I decided to make an astringent by mixing some of it with rubbing alcohol and more witch hazel. I find it very soothing before hitting the sack. BTW you should try to find some bay rum essential oil (Pimento racemosa) it well worth it if you want to continue this DIY kick. Its an almost smoky, cinnamon, clove fresh smell (that is as close as I can describe it).

    Good Luck
