Thanked: 1936The splash is lightly scented and has the menthol kick you have heard about. It seems as though it doesn't have much alcohol, but after looking at the ingredients it still has some. Good stuff.

I'm a Proraso green, blue user and I just used the Proraso aftershave splash after a nice shave with Institut Karite Paris cream. After which, a witch hazel splash, some creamo scentless moisturizer then the aftershave splash.
I am a big fan of the Proraso products and this AS product did not let me down. The menthol isn't as overpowering as it might sound neither is the scent which is very pleasant, btw. I can take my hand and wipe my face and still detect on my fingers the shave cream I used beneath the AS. Very nice!

Balm guy - like it. I have sensitive skin and shaving daily during cold, dry weather doesn't help. Proraso balm does. It has a slight vegital aroma, not unpleasant, that lasts about 10-seconds.

Just got a bottle of Proraso AS a couple months ago and lovin it. Imagine a fragrance a bit softer than the Proraso Green soap, with a nice citrusy note (from limonene and linalool, I believe).

Thanked: 60I really like the Proraso AS. Its a good day scent and has great cooling capabilities. I often splash some on my face and arms when its hot here just for the rush of relief it gives. It must be the menthol as my other AS do not feel not as cooling as this when applied on a hot day.
So for me it has a couple of uses and its one AS I will keep buying. It is not how much we have, but how much we enjoy, that makes happiness

Thanked: 220I love Proraso soap, but I have never tried the splash so I'm curious as to how long the scent lasts for. This will greatly influence my decision to order some.

Thanked: 60I think its good for 3 to 4 hours or so, much the same as any other budget aftershave. Its definitely day wear too, not a sophisticated or strong scent, but is a great AS all the same.
If you want a longer lasting smell best to stick to colognes, but of course you can't splash them on your face.It is not how much we have, but how much we enjoy, that makes happiness

Thanked: 220Kevinred-
Thanks for the info. Pinaud Clubman seems to last most of the day for me. I might have to order me some of the Proraso though, sounds like pretty fair reviews.
