Well, I was given a wee bit Terre d'Hermes to try and loved it. Had the sandalwood smell I love with a bit more besides, then I saw the price

A wee bit of web based research turned up Yardley Citrus and Wood. My untrained and inexperienced nostrils can't tell the difference. My wallet however

A lovely scent when built with the accompanying shower gel and sandalwood soap/cream.

Never trust a man who, when left alone in a room with a tea cosy, doesn't try it on!

    Guerlain-Mouchoir de Monsieur

This is a winter scent only, when spring arrives put it in a cool dark cupboard and forget about it for the other 3 seasons!
I have been waiting for today, a cold crisp morning in London. It's difficult to describe, opens big and makes you take a deep cold breath, settles quickly to the most adorable manly scent that's just.....Ohhhh

I can certainly see how this scent would be polarizing. I sampled it once and that was enough for me. However, even if I did like it my wife smelled it at the same time and it was a definite no - she's very allergic to lilacs and had a bad reaction to just one whiff. I suppose that was good evidence that Lilac Vegetal has traces of real lilac

Fortunately for me she loves Clubman
