Made a new "home brew" batch last night. Trying it out today. So far I am a fan.

    Top note:
    clove

    Base notes:
    Cedarwood and pine needles

Maybe I am a stereotypical Canadian but my wife and I both love the woody smells. This has a nice woodsy scent with a hint of spice. And is lasting longer than I thought so far. I have made it to lunch and can still smell a hint of it.

I use different oils from some health food stores around town. Here is the recipe I used:

In a 1 oz bottle I mix (roughly)

    Start with my base:
1/2 bottle of witch hazel (relieves redness and razor burn, helps a bit with any inflamation)
about 1/4 (or a bit more) sweet almond oil (Moisturizes skin)
A little less than 1/4 jajoba oil (Moisturizes skin)
7 drop vegetable glycerin (cooling sensation, alternative to alcohol, more benefits than alcohol)

Some drops of essential oils for scent:
    13 drops cedarwood
    10 drops pine needle
    3 drops clove

Cap the bottle and give'r a good shake. No waiting needed.

I've been using tabac EDC for weeks now and I LOVE IT! They say its an older man's fragrance, but I still rock it.
