Le Labo Rose 31You can have everything, and still not have enough.
I'd give it all up, for just a little more.

Aloha!
Straight razor shave this morning. Proraso Green pre-shave and cream, followed by Proraso Green aftershave. This has a "Limeish" sent to my nose.
To kick it up a notch after the Proraso aftershave;
Old Spice Lime.

Thanked: 1I am using proraso sandalwood at the moment. Really love the smell and would like to get similar sandlewood and maybe other woody fragrances as well.

Aloha!
I'm a big fan of Proraso shaving products. My favorite is the Green (menthol eucalyptus) and the Green aftershave has lime undertones. To kick this up a notch I follow it up with either Clubman Lime Sec or Old Spice Lime.
For the Proraso Red (Sandalwood), I follow that up with some Taylor of Old Bond Street Sandalwood cologne.
Available from Amazon or other online retailers.
This all depends on how long-lasting and deep you want the fragrance. Some are happy with just the aftershave. I usually am if I'm going to a morning meeting. I sometimes get complements on the Proraso Green aftershave hours after applying. Some of us go nose-blind to the fragrance, not realizing that new-noses will smell the fragrance long after we do.
If I had to give up my entire shaving den of products except for one brand, it would be Proraso that I'd keep.

Thanked: 1I have only just started with wet shaving and soaps and scents. I started out with the proraso sandalwood box that had the shave cream, aftershave, and preshave in it and I am not disappointed.
However, due to just starting out, I am still learning, I did not even know there was a difference between aftershave an cologne haha.
I am actually using Taylor of Old Bond Street Sandlewood shave soap at the moment and that is by far my favourite smell. So I think I may purchase some of that cologne you mentioned
I do like things that last all day, but I was a smoker for 15 years and have found my nose is a bit off so difficult to gauge how strong or how long lasting scents are.
Cheers
Mark
