You can have everything, and still not have enough.
I'd give it all up, for just a little more.

Sartorial today, and nearly every work day lately.
Love the uniqueness and it just smells awesome IMO.

I had long been waiting for Castle Forbes to offer us a 1445 shaving cream; and, recently, they did so... it's been wholly my fault for not buying it sooner and posting "trifecta" SOTD/FOTD entries... until today -- the shaving cream arrived yesterday, and waiting for today's shave motivated me to take out the Simichrome and make that mug shine -- and, wotthehell I sez, the kiddush cup and candle sticks, too.

And a "trifecta", it is. The shaving cream is less "soapy" and more "creamy" -- at least, compared to their Cedarwood and Sandalwood and Lime offerings; but you know what? it just makes it that much easier to load my brush with what I need (rather than some arbitrary "snurdle"). The ASB continues the aroma and moisturizing, and the EDP takes things to a heavenly ending (as opposed to a "happy ending"). Expensive? you bet. Worth it? you bet. But one caveat -- for gosh sakes, use a traditional, Sheffield near-wedge razor, to complete the ensemble.

    Smooth shaving!

If so, I think I’d enjoy that Tom Ford quite a bit.
Appreciate the link to the base notes in your posts as well!

Managed to get a vintage full bottle of Givenchy Gentlemen last night so was today's fragrance. Picked it up for a steal too so am pretty happy. From batch code should be either 92 or 93.

The Basenotes(dot-net) reviews were very interesting, especially the repeated references to Giorgio for Men (one of my favorite "vulgar" frags). Uh-oh... is there a sample out there, lurking and waiting for me to buy it?

From what I read on Fragrantica it was to do with the Patchouli in them both. I used 1 spray in the car when I picked it up and the moment I came home my wife said it was nice but very strong. Found it to take a while to settle down. Just very potent on the opening.
