Summer aftershave
Looking for feedback / experience.
I am after an aftershave for summer (It's that time of year over here ) . Over winter I was using the tried and true bay rum, and it was great, but just a bit too spicy and warm for our Aussie summers I think. So I am after a good citrus scent. Anyone with a favourite chime in!

Summer aftershave
Probably should've expanded a bit more … I prefer AS that makes your skin feel tight after application and generally go for alcohol based ones.
Last summer's was Aramis 'cool blend ' which I quite liked, but can't find it this year.Last edited by Mcduck; 09-18-2012 at 09:36 AM.

Hmmm.... there's Geo F Trumper's Skin Food (I would prefer the Coral one for summer). Also try Acqua di Parma's Collecione Barbare after shave lotion. Slightly alcoholic but light and delicate for the summer.

Thanked: 1195That's funny, to me Bay Rum is the perfect summer AS, but perhaps it's better suited for Canadian summers lol...
My all-time summer favourite is Proraso, but it is not citrus based at all. DR Harris Arlington is one that comes to mind though.

Thanked: 498My all time favorite summer scent is Royall Lyme
Clean crisp & with great staying power. You cant go wrong
I do stretch the summer season a bit, cause I tend to use it a good bit of the year.
What can I say I like it, it likes me.

I gotta agree with Ryan about Bay Rum in the summer.

Mcduck,
I like citrus scents for the summer, though they don't seem to have a lot of staying power.
I really like L'Occitanes Verviene which is lemon verbena scented; I also like L'Occitane's Vetyver for summer
Have fun !
Best regards
