Default Penhaligon's Juniper Sling Eau de Toilette

Just wondering if anyone has tried it and what they think. Does it smell like gin? I'm thinking this might be my next Cologne purchase and just wanted to get some opinions. Thanks

I have had it, yes you get a great whack of Gin when first applied, this mellows to the lovely Juniper.
Great fragrance, good staying power. One of my faves at the moment

Cant say ive smelled that one but Penhaligons Opus and Endymon are great scents. If you like a real manly scent try to see if you can smell Creed Royal Oud. A little bit goes a long way. Smells really harsh at first but settles and smels amazing. Ill keep my eyes open for the Juniper Sling.

This is a great scent. It does smell like a gin and tonic, in a good way.

It is definitely a unisex scent, so as with any scent, sample before you buy. Juniper Sling has become my wife's signature scent, and probably because of this I associate it it as a feminine scent. It smells great on her, but it wouldn't work for me (I really love LP#9, and like English Fern, Opus, etc.)

Be sure to sample any fragrance first, before buying. "Blind buying" a scent is always going to be risky, no matter how many recommendations you have...

    Just my tuppence.

Risky is my middle name lol, i haven't got it yet still need to spend money on other things first. I haven't been able to find it locally so I'll probably end up buying blind (i often do it with soaps also).

OK, well hopefully you will read the various online reviews and at least make an informed blind-buy

If you want to try it first, Lucky Scent has samples for $4 here:
Juniper Sling Eau de Toilette by Penhaligons

I also understand the urge/need to blind buy. I have some Domenico Caraceni on order that I just know I'll love

A divine scent, and my wife absolutely love it.
She calls it the sure thing...
Yeah, it is all that! (imho)

Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me over all these years....
