Thanked: 26Black & Decker Handy Steamer
Just got my new Black & Decker handy steamer in today, Best $26 bucks I have ever spent! My house water is at 128 degrees because I have small children. I saw a post earlier about hand towel steamers and did some research.
I thought; can this get my towels as hot as 176 degrees? I added water and 4 minutes later I had three extremely hot towels on my face. I thought 176 would be to hot so at 4 minutes it was about 145 ish.
It was very nice to replicate a barber shop shave. Again it was a great investment.

When I was in the Phillipines I was shaved by a gent who used a rice cooker for his steam towels-- it seemed to work well enough. It's hard to tell from the pics, how much counter space would you say that bad boy takes up?

Judging by the pictures I would say it is about the same size as the larger food processors.

I would hazard a guess that one should not put one's towels in with the veggies and rice. Multi-tasking has its limits.
