    Default Witch Hazel in Europe?

    Hello gents,

I see lots and lots of you use witch hazel as an aftershave. I was wondering if anybody knows a online store in Europe where you can buy it? I am looking for a nice aftershave that is not that expensive. So other alternatives are also welcome.

Witch Hazel is used more as an astringent than an actual aftershave. If you're looking for something with scent then you wont get much from Witch Hazel. It will leave your skin feeling refreshed though

Don't know about in Belgium but I buy it from Boots the Chemist here in Britain. Their own brand is £2.99 for 200ml if I remember. I should think most pharmacy type shops will have it.

Yep, you can get it from Boots. My local health store sells the popular American brands of WH too. So look around and don't get the first thing you see...

Which local health store would that be Rum? Where are you? I've not seen anything fancy like the American brands near me!

You can also add a few drops of any essential oil fragrance to your witch hazel. I like to add peppermint to mine.

I've found some pure witch hazel on ebay and they ship worldwide so I think I'm going to order some from there. The tip with the oil sounds great. .

Although I do not use witch hazel myself, Thayers makes a variety of scented versions, together with an aftershave variety.Thayers Witch Hazel

Hi Gareth, I'm in the home counties (UK). The local store that had them I think is called Victoria Healthfoods or something like that. It was the Thayers brand that they had in there... albeit at rip-off prices!!
