Thread: Jack Dean/Pashana

Hullo Gentleman.
Heres one for you: Iwas alerted via Barberblades.com of a new bay rum which is beig released by a company called Jack Dean, it is in a 250ml bottle and retails around £10.

I bought a bottle, when it arrived I was gutted because the bottle and liquid were exactly the same as Pashanas Bay Rum, the labels were the same size but with a different pattern!

I suddenley realised this must be rebranded Pashana which is my daily Bay Rum.

I wondered if any one else had noticed this or even heard of Jack Dean Bay rum.

If anything Jack Dean must be a secondary holding for Pashana.

I think they got into copyright/trademark trouble with the 'Pashana' brand in the USA, so they rebranded it for the USA market. Or at least that's what I've heard.
