Thanked: 375Alt-innsbruck?
Tired a search on here, and nothing......can someone that uses this AS / cologne describe the scent for me?
before I drop cabbage on this just to find out.
I'd like to hear from people who like it and those who hate it don't forget a colorful description.

Alt-innsbruck?
Love it. Just the right amount of menthol. Smell does have a tobacco flower scent maybe some vanilla. It is pricy for the small amount that you get and it needs some type of limiter to make it "splash" out instead of just pour. But that's all the criticism you'll hear form me. This stuff rocks.

Thanked: 375I ordered some from WCS, so I haven't received it yet but will post my thoughts and then my wife'.......
your response and WCS's reviews were very good, everyone seems to be very enthusiastic about this product, so I have high hopes!

Thanked: 1195Alt Innsbruck is one that I've been interested in for quite some time, yet I haven't got around to placing an order yet. If you scan some of the review focused forums you'll find it has a dedicated following and is very popular.
Perhaps today I'll try to convince my wife that I don't have too many shaving products so this one can go on my Christmas list.....

Thanked: 270That's about the best description I've heard, and the warning about the fact it doesn't have anything to constrict the flow is helpful.
What I would add is that it is one of the few scents I've encountered that doesn't smell like something I've tried before. That makes it special to me.

It's a great barbershop scent. I find it powdery, clean and invigorating. I enjoy it more in the summer.

Thanked: 375OKay Gentlmen, I received my Alt-Innsbruck from WCS today. Out of the box I was almost dissapointed, couldn't smell a thing! I opened the bottle up (glass with metal cap)and took a wiff, and thought, awl man BRUT, I wore this stuff in highschool......
So I got a shower, shaved my head and slapped this stuff on........woo! Menthol, no burn, and I think the cooling sensation stayed with me for at least a half hour. The scent, is not BRUT as I had thought, it's warm and not heavy like say, Tabac shave soap. I'm guessing the virgina tobacco is what I'm smelling, this pleasant scent will stay with you for a long time it doesn't seem to fade. Makes me think of being in a cabin, with your wife for as romantic weekend with out the kids, fire's rolling and it's cold outside. Nice winter time scent. Also it would be nice if they would add a limiter, at $33 I think it should have one.
Wanted to add it does it's job as an AS, my skin feels smooth, and any irritation I might have had was gone upon applicationLast edited by Trimmy72; 12-15-2012 at 03:41 AM.
