    Default Avon Aftershaves Memories

I just got this idea from EggSuckingLeech. He started a thread on Clubman Memories. Thanks Mr. Leech.

I searched the forum & found no threads titled with Avon Aftershaves. So here are a few that I have so far.

I collect Avon aftershave bottles that contain Tai Winds aftershave in them. Tai Winds was my first aftershave experience.

Please add to this thread with Avon aftershaves , if you have the time.

    Thanks for looking,

    Hirlau

That's a nice one. I think I might have to start collecting the other scents also. most of the time , I find them well under $10.00.

Yeah, but when I was young I didn't know the difference.

Maybe 30 years aging in the bottle helps. They don't seem that bad now (to me, YMMV). Of course, I have ASAD anyway.

Picked up this '31 Greyhound full of Spicy for $2 today. Also saw a monkey wrench, but it was empty.

They are all over the place, antique stores, thrift stores, a lot at yard sales & they are cheap too.

Most of the time. Some people price them like they're rare and precious, though.

"Get a grip, lady. It's Avon ferchissakes."

No, I will NOT pay $3 an ounce for Avon, even if it IS Tai Winds or Oland.

After all, without rules; this is just another AD. This way, I'm merely augmenting my collection. (At least, that's what I keep telling myself).
