    Default Hair tonic

Does anyone use these? If so, please tell me how they perform and your use for them. I have read that they add oils and things to ones hair. I'm curious and thought about just trying one for the heck of it. Do they interfere with other products? I use crew fiber and I wonder how it would affect it. Also, does the scent overpower other products or do they dissipate quickly?
FYI: I style my hair kind of wild and spiked.

Thanks for your guys input 😄

Mods, I was not sure where to post this, I hope I got it right.

    I use this:

    Clubman Eau de Portugal

Clubman Eau de Portugal Hair Tonic, 12.5 oz - Shampoo & Hair Products

I saw it on sale at the barbershop, figured I'd give it a shot and now use it most every day. I'm about the worst person to ask to compare it to other hair products though as I don't use any and never have. I like the scent (which does dissipate quickly) and it just kind of feels good.

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

    Default Vi tal us?

I used Vitalis for years. Then one day all my hair fell out! I was so upset, I called the company. I spoke to a guy with a German accent. I told him that after using Vitalis, I was bald. He said, "Vi tell us?' Yuk, yuk. Sorry about that. A great joke about 50 years ago.

    Default Hair tonic

I recently decided to try Jeris oil free tonic and couldn't be happier. I have horrible dandruff problems and have tried about everything so I decided to give that a shot. I couldn't be happier...not a flake since starting to use it. It's not greasy, provides just enough hold to keep my hair looking "neat" through the day, and most of all, not sticky. It feels just like my hair normally would without anything in it...but without flakes and a little hold.

Jeris sounds interesting. Where did you find it?

I wish I didn't have curly hair. Tonic just makes me look like I have a perm.

I'm a pomade man myself and never used the tonics. I remember that my Dad always used Vitalis...god it was horrible smelling stuff to me as a kid, but always seemed to keep him looking like James Dean...lol.

I found it at a local Sally beauty supply next to the pinaud products. Think it was about $5 or so

Are you still using that greasy kid stuff ? I haven't used hair tonic since I was in 6th grade, circa 1961, ....... and I do have a full head of hair BTW.
