In honor of my grandfather
Hey everyone. I've been morning the loss of my grandfather who passed on this last week, and while we were moving his belongings we stumbled upon this. It's a blunderbuss shaped bottle with aftershave inside. It has plastic attachments to provide a hammer making it look very cool.
It's probably a long shot but I was wondering if anyone here has seen anything like this. I would love some info on it. Even though I don't plan on using any of it.
Thanks a lot!

Thanked: 11My condolences on the loss of your grandfather. All I know is that Avon did the after shave in a ton of decanters like that. My dad had one shaped like the head of a golf club. I would use it in memory of gramps.

Thanked: 1184Send an e-mail with a picture to Avon customer service . I found a Listerine bottle in a ditch once and one call to them gave me a lot of info. You may be able to Google it up or search another out on e-bay. Best advice I can give and sorry for your loss.
Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

Sorry to hear about your loss. Our thoughts are prayers are with you.
It's a cool bottle, I see them all the time, not necissarily this particular one but but ones like it. AVON made tons of crazy shaped AS bottles for men, some smelled good others not so much. AVON AS was a nice way for the lady of the house to suprise daddy with a new aftershave while justifying all the junk and makeup she purchased for herself it the catalog. I wounder what grandma bought for herself that warranted such a purchase... Probibly $5 worth of lipstick and rouge or something

Very sorry about your loss. I hope that it's some small condolence that you have something like this of his to remember him by. That's a precious thing, brother - look after it!
It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.
