    Default Every Man Jack

Has anyone tried this stuff? I grabbed the AS balm from Walmart the other day on a whim. I've got to say that I really like it. I like it better than the Nivea sensitive even. Just wondering about other's opinions of it.

Couldn't resist. I mean, the name and all. :P

Bought the whole set. Couldn't get the shave cream to lather in a brush, or my hands. But a thin layer of cream does work. Really like the pre and post shave products. If they would make a puck I would be really happy. Bugs me that I can't get that cream to lather.

I'll have to try the pre. The post shave balm is pretty excellent.

I have used their cedarwood body wash, but I stayed away from their shave soap / cream.. Maybe I was just judging a book by its cover but I knew that the shaving products would be all packaging advertising wrapped around a subpar performing product marketed to an un-knowing mass market that believe they are using a superior product to barbersol or what ever canned goop people use. I happened to like the body wash but I honestly like bar soap so I prob would buy it again. I would try their post shave products next time I'm at Walmart, since I have a bit of ASAD. Will report back once it try that.

I like the after shave balm. Scentless (to me) makes sense for this product, so I'm not trying some 3 way balancing trick with the lingering scent of my cream/soap, a scented after shave conditioning product, and then another fragrance from an aftershave/cologne product. I have never had any irritation or reaction to it in months of use now.

I have tried both the Signature Mint and the Unscented versions, as well as the aftershave balm in Signature Mint. It is a good cream, among the slickest you will ever use. However, I don't like the way it clings to the blade. It is very difficult to rinse off your blade or your face. Another drawback is that it must be applied by hand. A brush would be goopy and difficult to rinse free of the cream. The unscented will be my last purchase of this brand for shaving cream. The balm is excellent and I rather like the mint scent.
