Thanked: 1Aftershave treatment
Hello Ladies!
I´m into traditional wetshaving since nearly a year now. I´m useing different straight razors and DE´s and I do really enjoy my shaves. The only problem I have is the dry skin around the shin area. Usually I don´t have any problems with dry skin, this is the only part of my body which is really prone to drying out. It doesn´t matter if I use shaving soap or cream, I always end up with the same result.
Products I have used:
-Several Bodylotions --> Lead to pimples
-Different Oils ---> too greasy, I can´t get dressed immediately after using them
-AS lotions (Floid etc) ---> they make my skin feel smooth, but the skin is still dry
-AS balms---> itchy skin and pimples
The only product which worked quite well for me is "Vifrex" Aftershave gel. But I can´t stand the smell any more, so I´m looking for a second product which works as good as the Vifrex.
So I need a product which has a nice scent or doesn´t smell at all, which absorbs very quickly, doesn´t lead to pimples and hydrates my skin
I hope you have some tips for me!

Try searching for products using Emu Oil, it has many uses for skin problems and also has a rehydration effect.
It usually absorbs quickly into the skin without the greasy-ness that other skin creams do.

Emu Oil sounds great I hope I´ll find a local shop where I can buy it.
Corn huskers sounds great too, but I don´t live in the US so it will be hard for me to find it...How do you make your own?
