    Default Amouage questions

I just received a decant of Amouage Reflection Man and Dia Man. Here's my question to those of you with more knowledgable scent references; does Reflection Man smell like root beer to you? That's the initial note I get and lasts into the middle note.

Dia Man, well I haven't decided how I feel about it yet.

Another day's use of Reflection Man seems to have resolved any questions. Yes, it's sweeter than I'm used to, but it's a helluva scent.

Hah, no it hasn't been answered yet so I've been forced to spend $$$ on various samples and decants of Amouage to get a sense of this house. I've come to love Reflection Man, it's a good year-round scent; Dia Man is a bit too powdery for me (and as I understand it, it's even less powdery than some of the Opus variations), and I'm waiting on a decant of Interlude Man, which ought to be fraught with spice and incense...we'll see.

I have the same problem with Dia and the Opus.... Do not give up on Interlude and you Must try Epic. Along with any of the Attar's.
