Thread: Clubman Bay Rum!

So I finally picked up some off of Amazon and all I gotta say is wow. I felt like screaming like that scene in Home Alone when I first put it on, haha. Stings like your mother just slapped you, but man does it cool down nicely. I get razor burn rather easily, and I think this may have actually helped it. But I used my usual Nivea Sensitive Balm before applying the Bay Rum, so I'll be sure to try using it tomorrow without the Nivea, see how it goes. I think it smells great as well, and I have received compliments on it already. I think I will continue using it in the future, along with my classic Old Spice.

I actually find on those heavy handed days that once the incredible burn wears off my face feels very refreshed and toned. Good stuff.

I think any of the Clubman line work really well for gauging your shave.
But like you I love the stuff.

Since you like the Bay Rum, which i do also, i think you would also like the Clubman Special Reserve. Not the same scent, but of the same character.

The Clubman products definitely have the ability to wake you up..lol. I rather enjoy their bayrum whenever I splash it on and it has staying power.

that is the first aftershave i ever purchased ... i also enjoy it .. ive actually put a bit of it in my sandalwood soap while getting a lather before and enjoyed the combo ...

I use it. It's not really Bay Rum more a clove-spice. if you think it burns, a few years ago they watered it down. it used to burn 5x as bad then but of course if it burns that means you failed the shave test-har har. if you give yourself a really expert shave you should get no burn at all.

I do love the smell of it, just wish it had more staying power for me.

I've been thinking about trying that, but haven't found a local source as yet.
