    Question Ogallala Decanter

    I see that Ogallala has a decanter for the aftershaves/colognes. Does anyone have and use one? I am interested in some feedback as I find the idea of a decanter for aftershave intriguing.

    I don't have that one though I did at one time but it broke. Many use bottles similar to that. Barbers in the old days had bottles mainly made by Koken for dispensing AS and Witch hazel and water too.

    I bought one a while back and use it almost every day. It keeps the AS tight and it looks good. The dispensing is very easy to control. I just open and pour the amount I want in the palm of the hand, rub hands and apply to face. Caution, keep bottle stop from falling on floor or sink.

    I've only sampled Ogallala, and it was a while ago so I don't remember if it came in a glass or plastic bottle, but I seem to recall it was glass. If so then I'm not sure what the point of the decanter is?

    My guess was so you have something classier than a screw lid. Yes it comes in glass.

    If you have a display of your gear it looks nice. I guess that's the reason.
