Thread: Complete shaving regimen using a single scent profile?

So I'm not sure why I didn't think of this sooner, but there are a few scents that many companies offer in everything from soap/cream, aftershave, cologne, deodorant, et cetera... And I was thinking of filling in the gaps of my own supplies in order to achieve a complete start to finish shaving experience using only one scent- specifically bay rum or sandalwood. Ogalalla makes bay rum bath soap, many many companies make bay rum shaving soaps, as well as AS, same with colognes. Same story with Sandalwood. Anyone else do this? seems pretty logical to me..

I have been doing this for years.
Not every maker has complete ranges in their products, but when they do, I always buy that

DR HARRIS does complete ranges on most of their scents.

Tabac has shower gel, shave soap and aftershave. I use that alomst daily. I try and pair them when I can unless I want a specific scent. Recently got the momma bears brute puck to compliment the brute AS.

Yeah my OCD loves companies that let me start and finish with the same scent

Absolutely. As another noted, DR Harris makes this possible. One of my favorites is Musgo Real. I can shower and shave with the entire line up, and I do. Check out W. M Neumann as well. They have soaps, after shaves, and balms all in the same scent.

Thanks for the replies, guys. I'll have to look into the Musgo Real, I use the bath soap in the oak moss scent, might have to try the full line.

Speick bar soap or shower gel in the shower followed by their shave cream or shave stick--with a finish of Speick splash is one great way to "rocket" into the new day!

May I recommend (heartily!) Floris Santal. Here is a link to a one-stop shop for the full Santal product line (which includes bath soap, deodorant, and aftershave splash), and a gratuitous copy of my SOTD photo for today! I find Floris Santal to be an enjoyable Sandalwood riff.
