Cat o' nine tails- hot stuff
I picked up the cat o' nine tails aftershave in my last srd order. I love the original captains choice bay rum so I had to try this.
I used it today for the first time after a two passer with my dovo MOP. Wow this stuff is hot!! It goes on with a nice alcohol sting and great bay rum scent. Then the heat hit my face like nothing I've tried.
Within a few seconds it was so intense I thought I would never use the product again. But I rode out the wave and was literally left in a daze from this aftershave. I loved it, and can't wait to use it again tomorrow!
Highly recommended for lovers of captains choice, or for those looking for something a little different. Ill post more thoughts after some more use.

Hey Michael,
I've had it for a few weeks, and it's one of my favorites. It does heat up after a bit, but, like you, I really like the sensation. It's a keeper for me.
Regards,
Howard
P.S. If you get razor burn easily, I wouldn't want to put it on tender skin!!!!Last edited by SirStropalot; 07-05-2013 at 08:11 PM.

The captain is vicious on razor burn but it is a great aftershave!
I have found that when I use an alum bloc first, rinse and then apply the Cat O'Nine tails the sting is gone but the heat remains. I suppose the alum bloc closes the pores which eliminates that initial sting of the AS but allows the heat in.
I enjoy how long the scent lasts in a subtle way, I can smell it but people a few feet away probably can't or at least aren't overwhelmed!I shave because I want to, not because I have to!

But the important question is, after putting it on do you feel like you had been flogged?

I've got the Bay Rum by Captains Choice and have been wanting to try the Cato9 but since it is summer, I went for the lime instead.

It's my favorite Captain too, I'd like to see a Cat Lime! Though truthfully, I don't find the Cat that much hotter than the original.

I don't find it to have an alcohol sting(think Clubman), but just a slow burn that builds and lasts a few minutes. It leaves my face feeling great. Good stuff.
