Proraso Pre Shave Cream Green New Formula
I use this cream since a long time now, I guess since the first time I shaved. I knew the list of ingredients of this cream was not the best - it contained parabens - and I found out they recently changed the formula, they say, of "natural origin".
Here it is the old and new INCI of this cream for you to compare:
Old formula INCI: Aqua, Stearic Acid, Sorbitol, Glycerin, Camphor, Potassium Hydroxide, Menthol, Parfum, Cetearyl Alcohol, Eucalyptol, Methylparaben, Ethylparaben, Propylparaben, Butylparaben, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone
New formula INCI: Aqua, Stearic acid, Sorbitol, Glycerin, Camphor, Eucalyptus globulus leaf oil, Potassium hydroxide, Menthol, Parfum, Geraniol, Butylphenyl methylpropional, Coumarin, Cetearyl Alcohol, Eucalyptol, Sodium Benzoate, Phenoxyethanol, Benzyl alcohol, Disodium EDTA
As you can see from the picture, the cream is now sold as "crema pre barba" (pre shave cream) and not as "pre and post shave cream" like it used to be in the past. It actually smells different - the eucalyptus is now milder - and you can see they also added other scents to the new formula.
This new formula however contains some ingredients I do not like: Butylphenyl methylpropional, Phenoxyethanol, Benzyl alcohol and Disodium EDTA.
The cream is however a good pre shave as the old one, it seems to be more "creamy" and less "dry" than the old formula. By the way, the label and the graphics on the box are changed, too.The RazorGuy - StraightRazorChannel on Youtube and Google+

I seem to always to a bit better in my problem spots when I use this stuff instead of shaving oil.
