Just spent my long weekend doin heavy research on straights, with the object being a purchase. Happy to say that SRD won out, with the RA 6/8 Spanish point, in African Blackwood. Also picked up the standard length 3" English bridle leather/hard felt strop. I had a Dovo/Inox in ebony, 'bout a year and a half ago. Used it a few times, and had to liquidate my shinier, easier selling items, do to a family thing. This one ain't leavin'.
So, pics to come, upon arrival, and all that. I've got the SRD pic, off of the net, but don't want to step on any toes. I won't post it without the mods, or someone, giving the O.K. Otherwise, I'll have to wait for the big day, to get some pics up. Soap and foo-foo is fun, and DE's are great. Brushes are mesmerizing in their choices. But, for straight-up sexy, it's the straights that get me, every time.
What the heck is wrong with me?
P.S. Is this considered qualification? Is there an initiation? I won't have to dry shave, while standing on my head, or anything, will I?"The reward of a thing well done, is having done it." (Ralph Waldo Emerson)
