I'm a big fan of Bruno's work. I think I have three now. The first one I got (serpent) I think may well have been the second he made? Is that right Bruno?

Then of course there's the Pi inlay in coticule dust - I really think I put Bruno through hell with that one! And then there's the scaleless he just gave me, free of charge!

Always pushing the boundaries, and in particular his own. I really admire that.

It would be interesting to hear which of our customs put him closest to the Centre circle of hell, i get the impression my lancet grind messed with his mind a bit too

    Very nice collaboration Bruno
I like the very distinct thumb jips.
What size is it about 11/16 or just a long tang ?

    It's about 7/8.

In terms of difficulty and complexity, the Lancet grind was the worst. That took a lot of careful thinking and grinding.
In terms of painstaking and time consuming work, the coticule dust inlay was the worst.

Serpent was the 3d actual razor I made, with a blank from Mike Blue.
The PI razor was the very first handforged one.
The fixed handle razor was also the first fixed handle razor I made.

No the serpent blade I tried to etch it together with the pattern etching, but that failed badly. The front side mark has stayed the same, but the back side mark (the Lorraine cross) was indeed added later.

I love those rams horn scales. They turned out very beautiful.I have always wanted to try out some rams horn & now I see how they CAN turn out when done very nicely. Theirs Issard sells a rams horn scale set but is nothing like this!!! I fell in love with these as soon as I saw them. Very gorgeous indeed!
