Hello everyone in the Michael Waterhouse world. My Macbook Pro had an update to the Yosimite OS X so I had to close out all windows & browsers. When I was done, one of the new windows I opened up was the Michael Waterhouse website Michael Waterhouse Knives & was surprised to find my razor on the site! He was so proud of that one he featured it on his page. It was a real treat & surprise for me & I'm so happy he has my razor on there! I currently have him making me another one, a half hollow, upper & lower jimping, short tail in a set of jade green G-10 scales. It should be done in December so that will be my Christmas present to myself.

Michael Waterhouse 7/8 Half Hollow
Well, Christmas came early today when the mail carrier brought this to my door, my new Waterhouse 7/8 Half Hollow. It is dressed in Jade Green G-10 scales. Michael wrote me as he was working on the blade & told me he got in a hurry & forgot to put the jimps on before he heat treated it but he was still able to add them & threw in the strop block for the mistake which was something he didn't have to do. It looks like it has some paste on it because I went small it & put a spot on it from my nose!

Thanks! I'm wondering if I should leave it as it is or one of these days, take it apart & polis both insides & outsides of the scales to give it that translucent look. I can't wait to try it out. Michael almost made a mistake & was in a hurry & heat treated it before adding the jimps but he still aded them & also sent me a stropping block for the mistake which he didn't need to do. I'll take a pic of it & add it to the razor pics in a few minutes!
